    Watch the extractor

Posted by Brian S. on Feb 22nd 2022

Fit my stamped receiver and my milled. Extractor went south,Centerfire was quick with replacement. I staked the extractor at the end of bolt, solved my problem. Once again Centerfire was great with customer service.

    Steel AK Magazines for this!

Posted by Snake Plissken on Mar 20th 2021

I bought several of the steel magazines for this conversion kit and they fed rounds without a hitch, they will hold more than 10 rounds, I put in about 18 to 20 for positive fun shooting. 22LR 10rd Magazine for AK-47 Conversion Kit - Blemished Item : MAG0705 | SKU : MAG0705 | Model : | UPC : 631661619517

Internals Great - Polymer Magazine Is A Bust

Posted by Steven N. on Aug 4th 2020

The polymer magazine that I received with this kit is very poorly manufactured. Friction in the internal spring channel is causing erratic feed issues. I inspected the magazine to see if I could correct the feed problem and discovered 2 small washers placed between the two halves of the clam shell, apparently added to compensate for friction against the spring and rounds. I removed the spacers in the magazine to verify and it would not function at all. I put the washers "shims" back in and it would function intermittently. I added 2 more small washers to the space between the halves and the friction problem disappeared, however the rounds would simply push out the top of the magazine at the slightest touch. I put the magazine back the way it was, sometimes it would feed ok as long as it wasn't touched. The clam shell gap caused by the spacers makes the magazine touch sensitive, especially near the center. Perhaps this kit should have had the steel magazine instead of polymer? I would rate this kit 5 stars for awesome internals but take away two stars for the poor quality of the polymer magazine.
