Rare 1960 Polish KBK wz. 1960 Parts Kit – Milled-Receiver Type 3, Underfolder Stock, Original Polish Barrel in 7.62x39mm (Non-Matching #20881)
“Small Batch” alert: we are first to bring to market a limited run of KBK wz. rifles still wearing their torch-cut Type 3 receivers and intact factory barrels. Every kit is listed individually, so what you see is exactly what you get.
This set is a 1960-dated, Circle 11-stamped Polish AK-47 built around a receiver stub serialized #20881. A "builder's special," this kit features a mix of genuine, non-matching Polish surplus parts from the famed Łucznik factory. The original cold-hammer-forged barrel remains pinned in the trunnion with strong, bright rifling, making it an excellent foundation for an authentic build.
KBK wz. 1960 & Polish AK history
KBK is short for Karabinek—Polish for “carbine.” The model code wz. 1960 (“wzór 1960” = “Pattern 1960”) identifies this specific production year of Poland’s license-built Type 3 AK with a milled-receiver. These rifles were part of a series produced in relatively small numbers from 1957 until the transition to the stamped-receiver AKM. While most were fixed-stock models, a small number were produced with an underfolder stock, making this variant particularly desirable. Because most were used for parts, KBK wz. 1960 kits are exceptionally scarce today.

Condition: GOOD CONDITION. An excellent "builder's kit." Parts are non-matching and show typical service wear. The lower wooden handguard has damage/wear as pictured, and the cleaning rod is not included. Perfect for a builder who can repair/replace the handguard and wants to create a historic Polish underfolder without the premium price of a matching kit.
