Description
Rare 1959 Polish KBK wz. 1959 Parts Kit – Milled-Receiver Type 3, Underfolder Stock, Original Polish Barrel in 7.62x39mm (Mostly Matching #05167)
“Small Batch” alert: we are first to bring to market a limited run of KBK wz. rifle parts sets still wearing their torch-cut Type 3 receivers and intact factory barrels. Every kit is listed individually, so what you see is exactly what you get.
This set is a 1959-dated, Circle 11-stamped Polish AK-47 that left Radom’s famed Łucznik factory. It retains a mostly matching-number group (#05167) – receiver stub, bolt, bolt-carrier, and recoil spring are all roll-marked alike, while the dust cover is a non-matching surplus part. The original cold-hammer-forged barrel remains pinned in the trunnion with strong, bright rifling, though it shows some external service wear and minor pitting.
KBK wz. 1959 & Polish AK history
KBK is short for Karabinek—Polish for “carbine.” The model code wz. 1959 (“wzór 1959” = “Pattern 1959”) identifies this specific production year of Poland’s license-built Type 3 AK with a milled-receiver. These rifles were part of a series produced in relatively small numbers from 1957 until the transition to the stamped-receiver AKM. While most were fixed-stock models, a small number were produced with an underfolder stock, making this variant particularly desirable. Because most were rebuilt, taken apart for spares, or used for AKM conversions, KBK wz. 1959 parts sets are exceptionally scarce today.

Condition: GOOD CONDITION. A great project set for a builder. This is a mostly-matching parts set with a non-matching dust cover. As pictured, there is some minor external pitting on the barrel assembly components, though the bore itself remains bright with strong rifling. Finish shows typical service wear, and wood has light dings but no cracks. An excellent opportunity to build a historic Polish underfolder with nearly all matching numbers.
Supply is extremely limited – Don’t miss the chance to build or preserve a true piece of Cold-War history.
NOTE: All parts must be inspected and installed by a qualified gunsmith. Receiver pieces are sold as historical artifacts only.
