Description

Rare 1958 Polish KBK wz. 1958 Parts Kit – Milled-Receiver Type 3, Underfolder Stock, Original Polish Barrel in 7.62x39mm (Partially Matching #06611)

“Small Batch” alert: we are first to bring to market a limited run of KBK wz. rifle parts sets still wearing their torch-cut Type 3 receivers and intact factory barrels. Every kit is listed individually, so what you see is exactly what you get.

This set is a 1958-dated, Circle 11-stamped Polish AK-47 built around a receiver stub serialized #06611. An excellent "builder's set," it retains its original matching bolt and bolt carrier, while other components like the dust cover and recoil spring assembly are non-matching Polish surplus parts. The original cold-hammer-forged barrel remains pinned in the trunnion with strong, bright rifling.

KBK wz. 1958 & Polish AK history

KBK is short for Karabinek—Polish for “carbine.” The model code wz. 1958 (“wzór 1958” = “Pattern 1958”) identifies this specific production year of Poland’s license-built Type 3 AK with a milled-receiver. These rifles were part of a series produced in relatively small numbers from 1957 until the transition to the stamped-receiver AKM. While most were fixed-stock models, a small number were produced with an underfolder stock, making this variant particularly desirable. Because most were rebuilt, taken apart for spares, or used for AKM conversions, KBK wz. 1958 parts sets are exceptionally scarce today.

Original Features

  • Caliber 7.62x39mm
  • Machined / Milled-Receiver Type 3 (torch-cut per ATF spec, small cut section has been removed)
  • Complete populated barrel assembly with factory front-sight & gas blocks
  • Underfolder Stock & Wood pistol grip
  • Factory code “11” and selector markings (“C” full-auto / “P” semi) on receiver stub

This Kit Includes (exactly what’s in the photos)

  • Complete barrel assembly – still in original trunnion, Circle 11 / 1958 on chamber
  • Cleaning rod
  • Wooden handguards (upper & lower)
  • Milled torch-cut receiver section (#06611), small cut section has been removed.
  • Barrel Nut protecting muzzle threads.
  • Strong rifling
  • Complete front and rear sights
  • Complete underfolding stock assembly
  • Mag-catch assembly
  • Recoil-spring assembly (non-matching)
  • Wood pistol grip + grip screw
  • Dust cover (non-matching)
  • Bolt & bolt-carrier (serial-matched)
  • Safety / selector lever
  • Three stock screws
  • Disconnector
  • Hammer & hammer spring
  • Trigger
  • Axis pins

Condition: SERVICEABLE / BUILDER CONDITION. A great "builder's set." This is a partially-matching parts set where the critical components (bolt, bolt carrier) match the receiver stub, while the dust cover and recoil spring are non-matching. Finish shows typical service wear, and wood has light dings but no cracks. An excellent opportunity to build a historic Polish underfolder with the most important matching parts already sourced.

Supply is extremely limited – Don’t miss the chance to build or preserve a true piece of Cold-War history.

NOTE: All parts must be inspected and installed by a qualified gunsmith. Receiver pieces are sold as historical artifacts only.
