The fire control group is made from mil spec heat treated 8620 steel and finished on all touch points for a smooth, crisp trigger pull with minimal creep or drag. Lesser lower kits use metal injected molded or improper steel to cut costs. The lesser part will wear at an extremely high rate and need replacing sooner. They also make for a terrible, heavy, gritty trigger pull. DoubleStar parts are made to last for the lifetime of the weapon.
