Including the guide rod assembly, complete buffer and that iconic green plastic stock, the HK-21 buttstock assembly will make a beauty out of any HK-21. These good surplus stock sets work great to refurbish or restore any old or cracked stocks you may have. Lighter than wood, but just as durable, these stock sets will give you the comfortable firing position you need.
The HK21, made by H&K, and their Portuguese subcontractor FMP, was the West German evolution in firearm technology. Designed in conjunction with the MP5 and G3, the most prevalent early buyer was Portugal, who would later buy a license to manufacture the machine guns as well. Much like the G3, it fires NATO’s 7.62 x 51. The HK21s would go on to be used by Portugal until just a few years ago. It’s the bigger brother to an iconic battle rifle, reinforced and updated to serve better as an LMG.
Some of these may have some light rust.
