The Sig Sauer P228 is the compact sibling to the P226—an all-metal, double-stack 9mm that earned a reputation with law enforcement and the U.S. military (as the M11) for its balance of size, control, and reliability. Built with a forged aluminum alloy frame and a robust carbon-steel slide, the P228’s 3.9" barrel and classic DA/SA trigger with decocker deliver smooth first-shot precision, fast follow-ups, and excellent recoil management in a carry-friendly package.
This small batch comes from an overseas police trade-in. Each pistol is German-made, graded Surplus Good (expect honest holster wear and finish thinning, no hand-picked refurb), and includes (1) 15-round magazine, standard fixed sights, and checkered polymer grips.
During arsenal maintenance/cleaning, the serial numbers were hand-engraved on the slide and barrel to keep the set matched, so you’re getting a 100% matching pistol!
