The MPI KM (Maschinenpistole Kalashnikow, modernisiert) is the East German fixed stock variant of the AK-47/AKM platform, manufactured by VEB Fahrzeug- und Waffenfabrik “Ernst Thälmann” in Suhl, East Germany (DDR). These parts kits are increasingly rare and sought after by collectors and builders worldwide.
Non-Matching: Bolt, bolt carrier, dust cover (Russian), and recoil spring assembly (non-German) are non-matching. Gas tube matches the serial.
