The MPI KM (Maschinenpistole Kalashnikow, modernisiert) is the East German fixed stock variant of the AK-47/AKM platform, manufactured by VEB Fahrzeug- und Waffenfabrik “Ernst Thälmann” in Suhl, East Germany (DDR). These parts kits are increasingly rare and sought after by collectors and builders worldwide.
Non-Matching: Bolt and bolt carrier are non-German but match each other. Dust cover has no number. Lower handguard has no number. Recoil spring assembly has a non-matching number. Gas tube matches the trunnion.
