The MPI KM (Maschinenpistole Kalashnikow, modernisiert) is the East German fixed stock variant of the AK-47/AKM platform. Manufactured by VEB Ernst Thälmann Werk Suhl in the German Democratic Republic (DDR), these rifles are renowned for their exceptional German manufacturing quality and precision engineering. This parts kit is an excellent example of Cold War-era Eastern Bloc craftsmanship.
Non-Matching Parts: Bolt, Bolt Carrier, Dust Cover, Gas Tube, Recoil Spring Assembly. No number on Lower Handguard. Bolt and Bolt Carrier are non-German but match each other.
