The Diamondback DBFS9 is a full size 9mm automatic featuring a glass fiber reinforced polymer frame and grip. The ergonomically contoured grip fits comfortably in the palm of the hand and improves overall hold of the pistol. It has a mil-spec Picatinny-style rail, allowing seamless integration of most aftermarket accessories. The DB9FS has a metal trigger with a 5.5 lb. pull and short tactile reset to decrease time between follow-up shots. The slide is made of 416 gun grade stainless steel and is equipped with tactical serrations increasing surface area between the user's hand and slide for a better grip when needed. The barrel, made from Chromemoly steel, is noticeably longer than comparable models which improves velocity and bullet stabilization. The flared magazine base allows for easy removal.
