Description
The Czech CZ 59 is a versatile 7.62x54mmR belt-fed machine gun developed in Czechoslovakia during the Cold War era. Designed as a universal machine gun, the CZ 59 was built to serve in multiple roles including infantry support, vehicle mounting, and anti-aircraft applications. This robust firearm became a standard weapon for the Czechoslovak People's Army and was exported to numerous countries throughout the world.
The CZ 59 features a gas-operated, air-cooled design with selective fire capabilities. Its belt-fed mechanism allows for sustained fire, making it effective for suppressive fire and defensive positions. The weapon's modular design enables it to be configured with various accessories including bipods, tripods, and optical sights.
These Grip Assemblies with Cracked Wood include the pistol grip and associated hardware for the CZ 59 machine gun. While functional, these grip assemblies feature cracked wood that shows age and wear. The grip assembly provides the operator with a hold for controlling the weapon during operation.
