Think back to the last time you watched a 60's era murder mystery. There's always a grizzed veteran detective 2 days awayretirement coming back in for one last case. Odds are, the revolver you saw him packing was the classic .38 Detective Special! This model was a slight modification from the already popular Colt Police Positive. Colt took the latter and cut it down, to give law enforcement a Colt branded snub nose for more discrete tasks. These were easily concealable, and proved excellent for undercover or plain clothes work. It's Colt manufactured, so you know it's not just pretty to look at, it'll get the job done when nothing else will!
