The question of how to improve on perfection can be a difficult one to tackle, but, Colt took this head on with spectacular results! The Colt Detective Special is one of the most popular revolvers ever created, but, Colt knew this design could be tweaked to accomodate for the varying preferences of their consumers. This process produced the Colt Cobra Revolver, essentially a Detective Special with a lightweight aluminum frame substituted for the all steel frame of it's predecessor. These revolvers were lighter and somewhat easier to conceal and carry due to this lower weight. Still packing a punch in a host of calibers, you can't go wrong packing one of these! If you're wanting to build onto an existing frame, or, repair an old one you can't go wrong with getting this kit! These parts are a bit worn, but, given some cleaning and care, could function just as well as their more expensive counterparts on other listings and sites. Be sure to get this while supplies last!
