Description
Original Spanish CETME Model C barrel assembly with included hardware. The CETME Model C was Spain's lightweight battle rifle adopted in 1964, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO and served as standard issue for Spanish military forces. This is an original military surplus barrel assembly from Spanish production.
The CETME design featured a distinctive fluted chamber with horizontal grooves that allowed cartridge cases to float on a gas layer for reliable extraction. Designed by German engineer Ludwig Vorgrimler based on the experimental StG 45(M), the CETME later influenced the development of the Heckler & Koch G3 rifle family used worldwide.
