Description
The Carinthia HIG 4.0 (High Insulation Garment) is a premium European-made cold-weather jacket trusted by NATO special operations forces and alpine professionals. Featuring G-LOFT® insulation (145g/m² body, 110g/m² arms) and a water-repellent PTFE membrane outer shell, the HIG 4.0 delivers serious protection down to -4°F (-20°C). Weighing approximately 2.6 lbs in size M, it packs down to a compact 17x33 cm for easy transport.
The three-way adjustable, stowable hood adapts to helmets and varying conditions, while dual side ventilation zippers let you regulate temperature on the move. Cordura®-reinforced elbows and shoulders stand up to hard use in the field. Fleece-lined hand pockets, two zippered arm pockets, two internal mesh pockets, and a Napoleon-style chest pocket provide ample secure storage. Velcro-adjustable cuffs, an internal storm flap with two-way front zipper, and a drawstring hem lock out wind and cold.
