A Webley & Scott Mark IV pattern 37mm flare pistol with 4" barrel. These were primarily designed for use on RAF aircraft during WWII. The barrel is cast then machined on the front and inside, but not the sides, which gives it a rougher look.

- No British Broad Proof Arrow mark or other military markings — likely sold for commercial/civilian use
- Lanyard ring
- Blued or black stoving finish is worn away and is now a frosty patina

- Hammer-block safety

- Bakelite grips with possible chipping on the edges
- Locking aircraft lugs on barrel for aircraft use
