CBC Global is a Brazilian company and a world-wide military and civilian ammunition giant. They produce around 1.5 billion rounds of ammunition annually in three distinct ammunition manufacturing facilities. In South America, there’s CBC Defense. It was founded in 1926 to meet the needs of the Brazilian military and grew from there. In Europe there are two manufactures: MEN in Germany, and Sellier & Bellot in the Czech Republic. which was purchased in 2009. Selleir & Bellot started in the ammunition business 1842 and produces a broad range of commercial and military ammunition. Finally, Magtech Ammunition, founded in the United States in 1990, was acquired by CBC and now serves as the master distributor of CBC Global Ammunition products in the United States under the Magtech.
The sample M2A1 metal ammo can we pulled from the pallet was made in 2005 (other years possible) and was secured with traditional branded wire and tin seal. Enclosed are five sleeves with 200 round per plastic sealed sleeve with 50 rounds of ammunition per box. The headstamp from the first box is marked M193 C 05 5.56. This Military Surplus M193 5.56 ammunition is Brass cased, Boxer primed, and NON corrosive. The 55gr boat tail copper jacketed lead core FMJ and non-magnetic. Due to the time in storage some brass may appear tarnished. The primers are sealed for moisture resistance.
