This AR-15, .22 LR Kit has the M4 contour rifle barrel and is 16" long. It is threaded the standard 1/2 x 28 tpi and has a manganese phosphate finished IAW 5.3.1.2 of Mil-STD-171, the U. S. government's recommended protective finish for steel. The bolt is made from 4140 steel and heat treated to RC 46-48 with an Electroless Nickel Finish. This coating is a superior coating with a very low coefficient of friction designed for lubricity, anti galling, release & friction resistance. This kit is designed to fit any mil-spec AR-15 parts.
